The Oranienburg canal, which gave this game its name, was built between 1832 and 1837 in Brandenburg. During the industrialization of the 19th century, many companies and businesses formed along this important waterway while new roads and railways were constructed. In Kanal, players erect industries and shape the infrastructure by building pathways, streets, railways, and canals. Bridges are especially important because they connect buildings and expand your network. By choosing actions at the right moments, players develop their industrial area and infrastructure to achieve victory.
