We've cornered the market on ultimate betrayal. In this hilarious bluffing game from Planet Money, street smarts are your greatest asset. Bait and defraud your friends, but don't let them get the better of you!
Gameplay Overview
Sell Me A Sasquatch is Exploding Kittens' collaboration with NPR's Planet Money — and yes, a major economics podcast really did help design a board game, and the result is genuinely clever. The premise is delightfully absurd: players are dealers trying to sell mythical creatures to a rotating Buyer, bidding and bluffing their way through deals involving sasquatches, sea monsters, and other fantastic beasts. Each round, one player is the Buyer who chooses which deal to accept, while everyone else pitches their hand of creature cards as convincingly (and deceptively) as possible. The negotiation and bluffing are front and center — you're reading your opponents, managing your hand, and deciding when to go all-in on a terrible deal and when to fold. Reviewers note it shines most with larger groups where the deal-making dynamic really comes alive. A fast, funny, and surprisingly educational game about economics, persuasion, and the fine art of selling something nobody asked for.
