Another Bug Hunt is the official introductory adventure for Mothership. The players' crew must re-establish communications with a remote terraforming colony. However, when they arrive they find an abandoned colony and the remains of a bloody assault.

From the award-winning Mothership team. It includes: four interconnected scenarios, stitched together into a micro-campaign (each playable in roughly 3-6 hours); tutorials and guidance on how to run your first game of Mothership; a brand new alien species, the Carcinids; three competing factions, each presenting their own tough choices for the players to make; and a challenging but fair introduction to Mothership for RPG veterans or rookies.

Gameplay Overview
Another Bug Hunt is Mothership's official entry point — a tightly constructed four-scenario micro-campaign that doubles as both a great first adventure and a genuine showcase of what makes the system shine. The setup is classic survival horror: a crew sent to re-establish contact with a remote terraforming colony arrives to find it abandoned, with only the grim evidence of a violent assault left behind. As the mystery unfolds, players encounter the Carcinids — a brand-new alien species created specifically for this module — and must navigate three competing factions, each with their own agenda and difficult choices on offer. Built-in tutorials and Warden guidance make this an ideal way to learn the system for the first time, while the layered mystery and faction politics give experienced groups plenty to sink their teeth into. As the introductory module included in the Core Set, it's the adventure most new Mothership tables will play first — and a strong showcase of the dread-filled, desperate tone the game does so well.
