The DUNGENERATOR: DIE in a Dungeon is a solo or cooperative, narrative dungeon-crawler. In it, your polyhedral dice become doomed adventurers attempting to save and rebuild a village that sits on the edge of a labyrinthine, ever-changing dungeon!

DIE in a Dungeon's player decks contain many different actions for players to take — each action is associated with a verb, and this generates a story each game session. DIE in a Dungeon is built to be played over several sessions: in order to defeat the evil that lurks within the dungeon, players must first complete smaller Village Quests to build up their Village, collect Loot, Train, and add Gear and special Heroic Actions to their decks. It's easy to add or drop a player even in the middle of a session, and you can save your campaign progress at any point. A single full session usually takes around 40 minutes solo or 60 minutes for 2 players.

Gameplay Overview DIE in a Dungeon is a wildly creative solo/co-op dungeon crawler with a hook that immediately sets it apart: your polyhedral dice ARE your adventurers. Each die's face-up value represents that hero's current state, and as they take damage or spend resources, the die literally changes — a tactile, intuitive system that's as fun to look at as it is to play. The rogue-lite campaign structure gives the game real legs: rather than a single big dungeon delve, players build up their village through a series of quests, expanding their decks with Gear, Loot, and Heroic Actions along the way toward a climactic confrontation with the dungeon's evil. The narrative deckbuilding adds genuine story texture — every action card is verb-based, so each session generates its own tale. Packed with hand-drawn art by ROLLINKUNZ on every card (different on front and back!), it's a labor of love with tons of surprises lurking in the deck.
