The face of the city is changing — will you be able to keep up with the times? Remake the city of Din'Lux with new location tiles and re-zoning decrees that evolve the game board over time. Give in to temptation and spend powerful Favor tokens to help both yourself and the Cult. Play Kinfire Council your way: the punishing Cult decree deck allows you and your fellow Councilors to play in co-op mode, or take on the Cult alone in solo play.
Gameplay Overview
Winds of Change expands Kinfire Council with three significant additions. New location tiles and re-zoning decrees introduce a legacy-style board evolution mechanic, reshaping Din'Lux as the game progresses and creating fresh strategic terrain each session. Favor tokens add a new resource that can be spent for powerful effects — but doing so may inadvertently aid the Cult, raising the stakes of every decision. Most notably, the expansion introduces a full co-op and solo play mode, giving players the option to unite against the Cult of Altan rather than compete against each other. These modules can be used individually or combined, making Winds of Change a flexible and substantial upgrade to the core experience.
