The trick-taking card game where you cannot see the values of your cards! Discover the game of Taiki Shinzawa, the master of trick-taking!

Luz is a trick-taking card game in which you must bet on the number of tricks you will take during play. For that, pick up your cards without looking at them. You will only be able to see the color of your cards, while your opponents will be able to see exactly what values you have. Try to guess the value of your cards, then bet on how many tricks you think you will do. You can take a safety bead or risk it all for even more points. Discover this re-implementation of the Japanese game LUZ, with stained glass illustrations that intensify as the value of cards grows. Combine color and light to outshine your opponents!

Gameplay Overview LUZ is a trick-taking game with one of the most devious twists in the genre: you can't see the values of your own cards. When you pick up your hand, only the colors are visible to you — but your opponents can see your values perfectly. Using what you can observe of others' hands, the bids already on the table, and your read of the situation, you must estimate how many tricks you'll take and commit to a bid. The risk-reward element deepens the tension: play it safe with a security bead, or gamble on a riskier bid for bigger points. The stained glass artwork by Crocotame is gorgeous and functional — cards grow more visually intense as their values rise, giving you just enough visual information to work with. A clever, social, and beautifully produced trick-taker from Taiki Shinzawa, one of Japan's most acclaimed card game designers.
