In Questline, assemble a hand of 7 sequential cards, claiming and discarding cards as you refine your selections. Gather up cards with compatible story elements and effects to earn the most reputation!
Everything takes place simultaneously in real time — no turns or rounds — you decide when your hand is complete. Don't waste time, but be careful not to rush too much and leave gaps in your story...
Gameplay Overview
Questline is a fast-playing simultaneous card game set in the World of Ulos — the same fantasy universe as Roll Player and Cartographers — where players race in real time to assemble the perfect 7-card heroic tale. There are no turns: everyone is drafting and discarding at once, drawing from face-down decks, reclaiming their own discards, or snatching up a neighbor's discard that's exactly what they needed. Your final hand must form an unbroken number sequence, but the real scoring magic comes from finding class and story cards that interact and synergize — compatible combinations earn more reputation stars, while gaps in your sequence force you to sacrifice your highest-value cards as plot holes. First players to lock in their complete hand claim the best Epilogue cards for bonus points. Then everyone reads their assembled story aloud, adding their own dramatic flair. Quick, tense, and different every game thanks to a 90-card pool you only draw 7 from, it plays beautifully as a filler, a warm-up, or a main event.
